Bitubind Mineral Asphalt is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon resin.
It is also called asphaltite, uintaite, asphaltum or Gilsonite and is very similar to hard petroleum bitumen.
Due to its unique compatibility with bitumen, Mineral Asphalt is frequently used to harden softer petroleum products.

Bitubind Mineral Asphalt is a shiny, black substrate that is mined out of the ground at depths up to 500m.
It is then ground down into a dark brown powder of various mesh sizes for different applications.
