Ride to Rakaia

In February of this  year  Traffic R Us has been involved in supplying and implementing the traffic management. This has helped with the safety of cyclists and spectators throughout  the race.

On Saturday, February 25th , 2017 more than 1.000 cyclists at one time crossed the Rakaia River Bridge, which is approximately  1 km long and will be a controlled start.

The participants travelled west for another 50 km until they reached the Rakaia Gorge, crossed the two river bridges and left the Gorge to Mt Hutt station, then returned to the Rakaia.
