Roundabout Change
The Riccarton Road roundabout required a new sewer line running to and underneath it.
We worked in conjunction with City Care on this project and are happy to report that it was delivered with the minimum of fuss.
Some aspects of this work were tricky however. Closing one lane on all approaches to the roundabout was required in order for the client to have the maximum available work area.
Change around was a big part of the project also. We had to ensure the entire work site was cleared out in order to re-set and safely start again. Then, in the middle of the project, ’s second big earthquake occurred, placing extra stress on both the roads and those travelling them.
Keeping everything running smoothly required some major behind the scenes work. Our communication across multiple project stakeholders needed to be fast and clear, our work always to the set plan.
